Council Membership
meetings are held once a month, on the 2nd Wednesday, at 6:00 pm in the
IHM Hall.
On the Wednesday prior to the Council meeting, the Officers meet at 6:00
pm in the IHM classrooms. The Council hosts a large number of
activities throughout the
year. Monthly activities: a pancake breakfast on the second Sunday of
each month, a highway cleanup on the Saturday following the Council
meeting. Annual
activities include: Officers Installation Dinner, Campaign to Assist
Persons with Intellectual Disabilities (Tootsie
Rolls), Christmas
Party, and a major role in IHM Church events such as the Fall Dinner,
the Thanksgiving Dinner and the Lenten Fish Dinners. In addition the
Council plays a major role in Right-to-Life activities including the
Cemetery of the Innocents and the March for Life. The Council
has
an excellent First Degree team and frequently hosts degree ceremonies. All activity times and dates are subect to change until CORONA VIRUS is contained.
